Well, this is just me again just letting shit ooze out of my mind…random thoughts or ideas, festering shadows within my mind-and even thoughts about Maine…yes, Maine. I got one for ya-what does a woman from Maine say afer sex? Give up? Get off me Pa, your crushin my smokes. <drum snare> OK, OK-in all seriousness…there has been something creeping around in my head. For those that know I am a huge Star Wars fan…some of you even know I played a Star Wars MMO(Massively Multiplayer Online). Yes, many of you may have heard of WoW, but perhaps not SWG. I have met a good deal of people, some who are friends with me on here-some I talk to online or by phone, via email-whatever. Many that I do talk to I consider my friends-and in some way or another have become a part of my life-I love yaz all to deaf. Now…some are single, some are married, some are black, some are white-black, latino-asian…all shapes and colors. But the differences in the people don’t end there. I have friends there that are gay another that is a transgendered. And yes, I consider them to be friends, and I love them all the same. And you know what? I sit and think about the times I make fun of people calling them gay-or fags. I had a female toon on SWG that had a barn structure that I named PureTranny Ranch…<shrug> I really hadn’t given much thought into it. But now I have thought about it…and well, I am TRYING to refrain from it…out of a respect I carry for THEM first off and foremost. Secondly I think it to be rather heartless now…I mean think about it. You wouldn’t sit there and joke around with someone questioning their manhood and be like “you are such a black dude.” No, you fill it in with fag or homo-whatever. Now, last night Maine had a ballot question to keep or repeal same sex marriage. First off-I don’t think there even NEEDS to be a law ”allowing” gays to marry. There is a law that people can get married-right? Last I checked regardless of your sexual preference you were STILL a person.  Not sure what the “Holy” books say on that-but, it DOES NOT MATTER. There is a supposed to be a clear seperation of church and state. End of story…this country was founded on the idea off people escaping religious persecution and did NOT want religion to take a strong hold or have ANYTHING to do with how we governed ourselves. I love listening to people talk about how far we have come-when we have indeed NOT come very far. It is a common theme here to fall back to archaic forms of dimwitted devotions to fairy tales and push them onto other people who might not agree…just because they talk louder are usually devoted to a fault to some fable-yes, I AM referring to Jesus, God, Allah-whatever you call your god-it is a fairy tale and you and your beliefs are hold society back from forging ahead because you think in your religious morality that something is wrong that ALL should follow that. If you don’t like gay marriage-DON’T MARRY SOMEONE OF THE SAME SEX JACKASS! And yes, I know that there are other arguements about same sex marriage-BUT most of it comes from hypocritical conservative fuckwads that should learn to mind their own god damned business instead of worrying about what everyone else is doing…so basically all in all-I think that Maine dropped the ball….big time. It is times like this that there is no one to blame except the citizens.
